Swimwear, yes it’s a tough job.
We were stoked to assist a WA bikini and swimwear manufacture, Ningaloo Swimwear, in one of their photoshoots in the states south-west last weekend.
Despite being the middle of our normally ‘hot as the surface of the Sun’ summers, it was bloody freezing and blowing gale-force icy winds straight from a polar bears backside. Our job for the day was to park the bus in iconic locations and let beautiful girls crawl all over it in swimwear while having their photo taken. Feeling like I needed to pitch in to help more, I also offered to crawl all over it wearing swimwear; however my idea was politely declined. It seems the thought of a middle aged fat man wearing a slim cut two-piece and looking like a reverse of Bruce Jenner was too much for them to bear. Thankfully no-one needed to have their hair held back while they vomited over the thought. Although I would have volunteered for that job too. I was there to help.
Justin from Bauer Photo Art had the enviable job of lensman as well as boss of the Ningaloo designs. Steph Garcia did the flawless makeup for the day and the whole thing was pulled together magically by Michelle at In a Nutshell Marketing. She arranged some props and accessories from Stellar & The Chief, Echo Clothing, and kept us fed and (coconut) watered from Eau De Coco and Hot Chocolate Dunsborough.
Below are some ‘behind the scenes’ photos from throughout the day. If you are interested in purchasing any of the bikinis then please visit Ningaloo Swimwear for more information.
Our models were: Angie, Katinka, Ruby, and Bobbie. So great to work with them – consummate professionals :)
Part Two of the shoot will be soon, just have to wait for the Sun to come out again….
