Juice Bay Window KombiBrian

In 1968 Volkswagen changed the Kombi design from the older ‘split window’ model to the newer ‘bay window’. The new models were slightly wider and had more modern suspension, better brakes, and a larger interior. You can tell the new models by the single piece of glass for the windscreen and newer styling of the side windows. Gone were the swing out cupboard style side doors, replaced by a sliding door to allow more room to get in and out.

Juice is a 1973 bay window model and is a pleasure to drive in. The height of comfort he has two rows of three bench seats in the rear and a passenger can sit up front as well if needed.
